3 easy steps to save

Step 1: Register for your free consultation

If your business has between 6-20 employees or is a drought-affected business employing 0-5 employees, you qualify for a one-on-one consultation with an independent business expert. They understand the specific energy needs of your industry and can advise on potential energy-saving opportunities.

Step 2: Get your energy savings report

After your consultation you will receive a free report tailored to your business. The report suggests ways to make the most of the latest technology and best practice so that you can make changes to your business when it suits you.

Step 3: Even more ways to save on energy

Our service also gives you access to case studies, facts sheets and information on how your business may be able to access government grants, to enable your business to unlock even more energy savings.

Rebecca Bradshaw - Proficiency Group Pty Ltd, WA

"Thank you BEAP for the advice and helpful energy report. It is greatly appreciated and gives us some guidance on where to act next. I highly recommend that other small businesses in WA take advantage of this free government funded service."

Sarah Button - Sarah Button and Partners, NSW

“What excites me is that I’ve had help and am connected to additional services which can help me do the legwork. Regarding my energy bills, I’ve already identified annual savings of $2,300 on my current contract. That’s real money that we can put to good use in the business.”

Katie O’Reilly - Tugun Fruit & Flowers, QLD

"It's a free government service, a simple process to get involved with and is designed to help you save money for nothing. [We've saved] in excess of $1,800 per year on the energy bill, plus the savings of upgrading the solar generation.”

We get business. We get energy. We get you.

We get business. We get energy. We get you.

Business Australia has been supporting your business needs since 1826, and we continue to deliver what you need for your business. From the moment consumers told us rising energy costs were having an impact on their bottom line, we knew we had to take action. So we did.

Since launching the Business Australia's Energy Service in 2018, we have identified energy savings estimated at over $7.7 million across almost 8000  accounts¹, allowing more money to go back into businesses.

Now we take it one step further. As partners with the Australian Government, we now offer a free and independent energy advice program for Australian businesses aimed at reducing energy costs.

Responding to concerns raised by businesses, the ACCC undertook a Retail Electricity Pricing Inquiry in 2018. The final report set out 56 recommendations to address rising retail electricity prices. The Business Energy Advice Program (beap) responds to the ACCC’s recommendation to deliver tailored energy savings advice for eligible small businesses.

We can audit and suggest potential energy-saving opportunities and give access to case studies, fact sheets, and information on how businesses can access government grants. We can provide advice that aims to deliver real energy savings for your business.
