We get business. We get energy. We get you.
Business Australia and other divisions of the NSW Business Chamber have been supporting your business needs since 1826, and we continue to deliver what you need for your business. From the moment consumers told us rising energy costs were having an impact on their bottom line, we knew we had to take action. So we did.
Since launching the Business Australia's Energy Service in 2018, we have identified energy savings estimated at over $7 million across more than 4,000 accounts¹, allowing more money to go back into businesses.
Now we take it one step further. As partners with the Australian Government, we now offer a free and independent energy advice program for Australian businesses aimed at reducing energy costs.
Responding to concerns raised by business, the ACCC undertook a Retail Electricity Pricing Inquiry in 2018. The final report set out 56 recommendations to address rising retail electricity prices. The Business Energy Advice Program (beap) responds to the ACCC’s recommendation to deliver tailored energy savings advice for eligible small businesses.
We can audit and suggest potential energy-saving opportunities and give access to case studies, fact sheets, and information on how businesses can access government grants. We will provide advice that aims to deliver real energy savings for your business.
